Our elegant speakeasy is perfect for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, baby showers, retirement parties, engagement parties, networking events, private brunches, and any event you can imagine! We’re easily located in Dayton, Ohio right off Interstate 75 and 675!

 

  • Decorations are welcome but must be pre-approved due to the delicate nature of our furnishings. All decorations will be arranged by staff before the event and cleaned-up by staff after the event

  • Live music or any other entertainment must be pre-approved by management before contract is completed.

  • Live music can be arranged at an additional cost

  • If used, catering companies must contact venue two weeks prior to event to arrange set-up details and requirements

  • A 20% gratuity will be automatically added to all bar expenses

    Featuring Dayton’s best jazz, blues, and lounge musicians 5 nights per week, Tuesday through Saturday. Music begins at 7pm on Tuesday - Thursday and 8pm on Friday & Saturday.

    There’s no cover charge at Whisperz Speakeasy for our regulary programmed live music, featured 5 nights per week.

    Comfortable seating featuring gorgeous art deco and hollywood regency style furniture and decor with chandeliers from Murano, Italy and fixtures from the world over.

  • Easily Accessible

    Easily located off Interstates 75 & 675 in West Carrollton, Ohio. We offer plenty of parking with accessible entry, parking, and restrooms. There are no steps required to enter our venue.

  • Password Required

    The password of the week is requred for entry and guests must be 25 years of age with a valid ID to enter.

  • No Televisions

    We feature silent films on the silver screen and volume appropriate background music when there is no live music to encourage cozy conversation.

  • Exquisite Wine Selection

    We feature boutique wines from independent wine makers around the world as well as Tuesday night wine specials when wine is 50% off by the glass & 10% off by the bottle.

  • Full Service Bar

    We offer a full service bar with a wide selection of fine whiskey, scotch, bourbon, tequila, mezcal, vodka, gin, rum, and cordials. Our knowledgeable, experienced bartenders can craft any cocktail from classic to creative concoction.

    We offer delicious espresso-style coffee as well as a rotating selection of meticulously crafted desserts. We boast plenty of non-alcoholic options including N/A beer, sodas, teas, coffees, and more.

This week’s password honors 🎹Hersal Thomas🎹, a blues piano prodigy gone too soon. Born in Houston, Texas in 1906, 🎹Hersal Thomas🎹 was one of many talented siblings in the Thomas family. Alongside his brother, George Washington Thomas, Hersel is credited with pioneering the boogie-woogie style of blues piano. By merely 15 or 16, 🎹Hersal Thomas🎹 toured with King Oliver and Louis Armstrong and had recorded several songs under his own name, and as an accompanist to Hociel Thomas, Sippie Wallace, Lilian Miller and possibly, Sodarisa Miller. 🎹Hersal Thomas🎹 tragically died of food poisoning while working at Penny's Pleasure Inn in Detroit at the young age of 19, with the circumstances surrounding his death never clarified and shrouded in mystery.
